Jawan laid to rest

DAVANGERE: G.N. Nagaraj, a jawan who was killed in an accident while on duty in Kashmir two days ago, was buried at Jadaganahalli in the district on Monday.

Mr. Nagaraj was with the 54th Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force. His body had been brought here on Sunday and placed at the Beeralingeshwara hostel for some time. Deputy Commissioner M.B. Dyaberi, Superintendent of Police Ravindra Prasad, the former Minister S.A. Ravindranath, the former MLC K. Mallappa and the former APMC president B.M. Sathish were present.
