900 attend eye camp

BANGALORE: The Dr. Rajkumar Trust, set up by the family of the late thespian Rajkumar, in association with Narayana Netralaya and the local chapters of the Lions Club, organised a free eye check-up and surgery camp in the city on Sunday. An estimated 900 persons were screened at the camp. The camp was organised for the benefit of the people living in and around Chandapura. The release said the trust will fund eye care programmes, including promoting and propagating eye donation, corneal transplants and cataract operations. — Staff Reporter
