Brahmo Samaj foundation day

Bangalore: The 178th foundation day of Brahmo Samaj was celebrated here on Sunday through “Maghotsav”, the foundation day celebrations. The event had been organised by the Bangalore Brahmo Samaj in association with the Brahmo Samaj of Cottonpet and Basavangudi to bring out the significance of “Maghotsav” and aims and ideals of Brahmo Samaj.

Ashoka Gurudas, president of Bangalore Brahmo Samaj, who welcomed the gathering, joined the junior members of the samaj in singing bhajans. Melanie Kumar, a member of the samaj, delivered the upasana. — Staff
