Lectures on the Koran

DAVANGERE: Jamaat-E-Islami Hind has organised a series of lectures on the Koran in Kannada from Jan 29 to Jan 31 at the Abhinava Renuka Mandir here. Mohammed Basha Sab and Chaman Sab, convenors of the Jamaat-E-Islami Hind, told reporters here today that three subjects selected for the programme are morality, women’s rights and human rights. Lal Husain Kandgal would deliver a lecture, and a public debate will be organised as part of the programme on the above three issues.
