IRDA approves HDFC stake sale

MUMBAI: HDFC on Monday said it had got ‘in principle’ approval from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority for transferring 26 per cent stake in HDFC General Insurance Co. held by it to Ergo International. Ergo International is a part of the Munich Re group.
