Training for government staff held

PUDUKOTTAI: A district-level training programme for government employees was organised under the auspices of Tamil Nadu Government Employees’ Association here recently.

President of LIC Employees’ Union Swaminathan and State general secretary of the TNGEA R. Muthusundaram spoke on the responsibilities and rights of the employees.

District president of TNGEA T. Azhwarappan and district secretary K. Nagarajan were among those who spoke.

Later addressing presspersons, Mr. Muthusundaram urged the State Government to give up the new pension policy.
