Seminar inaugurated

A two-day National seminar on ‘Soft computing tools in mechanical engineering’ was inaugurated on Monday at Velagapudi Ramakrishna Siddhartha Engineering College, in which faculty members from various engineering colleges across the country, industrial personnel and students of mechanical and production engineering took part.

Speaking at the inaugural session, Dr. D.K. Prathikar, IIT, Kharagpur, said that soft computing tools were used to solve in the complex problems of engineering which cannot be solved mathematically.
