Bokaro: A statue of Mother Mary went missing from Dhori Mata Tirthalaya at Jarangdih in Bokaro district and was found on Monday after three days. Bokaro Assistant Superintendent of Police, A V Minz said here that the statue, known locally as Dhori Mata, was missing since Friday and a search had been launched following the lodging of a complaint. The wooden statue was found lying at a spot near a Kali Mandir at Jarandi in Bermo block during the day, he said. The statue would be reinstalled at its original place at the Tirthalaya, located at Dhori Saint Anthony church and is a pilgrimage centre for christians.
