Sharp rise in Britannia’s net

MUMBAI: Britannia Industries has posted a net profit of Rs. 45.40 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2007, as compared to Rs. 16.40 crore in the same period in the previous year. Total income increased from Rs. 572.30 crore to Rs. 662.70 crore.
