Medininagar: A jawan of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police was killed over land dispute in Palamau district of Jharkhand, a senior police officer said on Tuesday. The jawan, Bhola Ram, visited his village Barseta under Patan police station on leave. His body was recovered on Monday night from nearby Baralota village under Medininagar police station, superintendent of police Deepak Kumar Verma said. A land dispute between Ram and his neighbour was said to be the reason behind the incident, Mr. Verma said. Protesting against the murder of the ITBP jawan, local people set up road blockade at Dr Rajendra Prasad Square here.
