Asianet award for Antony

Thiruvananthapuram: Defence Minister A.K. Antony has been selected Asianet’s Malayali 2007. He was selected for the honour through a SMS poll. He was chosen from a panel of 10 Malayalis who had excelled in various fields. A statement from Asianet Communications Ltd said Mr. Antony secured 24 per cent votes. Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan would confer the award on Mr. Antony at a function here on February 8.
