Karur Vysya Bank’s net profit rises

KARUR: Karur Vysya Bank’s net profit stood at Rs. 46.43 crore during the third quarter ended December 31, 2007, against Rs. 26.19 crore during the corresponding period in the previous fiscal, registering a growth of 77 per cent. The operating profit rose to Rs. 88.25 crore from Rs. 61.51 crore. Interest income went up to Rs. 302.54 crore from Rs. 225.28 crore. — Staff Reporter
