Manan shines

NEW DELHI: An unbeaten 79 by Manan Sharma powered Sonnet Club to a seven-wicket victory over Rohtak Road Gymkhana in the semifinals of the 12th Sahibzada Ajit Singh cricket tournament held here.

In the final, Sonnet will play Indian Airlines on Thursday.

The scores: Rohtak Road Gymkhana 157 for eight in 40 overs (Kuldeep Rawat 46 not out) lost to Sonnet Club 159 for three in 28.2 overs (Manan Sharma 79 not out, Mayank Sidana 44). — Special Correspondent
