TDB to move apex court

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A meeting of the Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) held here on Tuesday decided to move the Supreme Court for getting 12 hectares of forest land for widening the pathway from Pampa to the Sannidhanam. Briefing reporters about the decisions of the meeting, TDB president C.K. Guptan said widening of the path was imperative for easy trekking. A committee headed by the Chief Secretary will discuss the demand for more land with the Forest Department also.

The TDB will seek sponsorship to construct the path and other facilities. A committee has been constituted for networking the TDB headquarters, administrative blocks and 25 major temples.
