Munaf to replace R.P. Singh

Mumbai: Seamer Munaf Patel will replace injured Rudra Pratap Singh for the tri-series to be played between India, Australia and Sri Lanka. Bengal batsman Manoj Tiwary will join the team as a 17th player and as a cover for Yuvraj Singh.

According to a BCCI release, Yuvraj Singh is nursing a knee injury and he is likely to be fit by the second match of the tri-series. He will be examined by an orthopaedic surgeon in Melbourne on Wednesday. — Special Correspondent
