BIDAR: President of the District Consumers Redressal Forum, Bidar, has directed Mahatma Gandhi Sakare Kharkhane, Bhalki, to pay Rs. 60,000 at an interest of six per cent to a farmer Chintanna Biradar for not issuing cutting orders to cut and transport sugarcane during 2006-07. A release here on Wednesday said that Mr. Biradar suffered losses since cutting orders were not issued to him. He approached the forum, which held the sugar factory responsible for loss caused to the farmer. — Staff Correspondent
