Patna: A CBI inspector was arrested while taking a bribe of Rs. 50,000 from a bank officer here, sources said on Wednesday. Praveen Kumar, posted at Patna was arrested by a CBI team from Delhi at a hotel on Tuesday night when he was accepting bribe from H.S. Thakur, manager of UCO Bank, Giddhaur branch in Jamui district. According to sources, Praveen had demanded money to save Thakur in a case of alleged corruption.
