Youth told to develop entrepreneurial skills

NAMAKKAL: Collector G. Sundaramurthi has called upon youth to develop their entrepreneurial skills.
He was speaking after inaugurating a six-week entrepreneurship development programme organised by the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Institute, in association with Indian Bank and District Industries Centre here recently.
The Collector said that youth should have the knowledge about current trends in the industry and posses the required skills to run a venture successfully.
The training programme would equip them with the required skills.
Project report
Candidates selected at the end of the programme would be asked to prepare a project report. Based on the projects, loans would be extended to them to start enterprises.
He added that the banks were extending credit to the people willing to start businesses. Indian Bank Deputy General Manager Mahadevan, National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development Assistant General Manager Jeyakannan,,
