34 FDI proposals cleared

NEW DELHI: The Centre on Wednesday approved 34 foreign direct investment proposals, aggregating to Rs. 2,288.40 crore in various sectors, including a Rs. 580-crore plan of Global Asset Holding Corporation for investment in telecom. The proposals, approved by the Finance Minister, also include a Rs. 400-crore FCCB issue of UTV Software Communication.
