Govt. to infuse Rs. 900 cr. in RRBs

NEW DELHI: The Central Government on Wednesday decided to strengthen 27 ailing regional rural banks in 15 States by infusing fresh capital amounting to nearly Rs. 900 crore. The proposal to recapitalise the RRBs was approved at a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs.
