Road blockade

KORAPUT: The State highway linking Koraput with Ryagada was blocked by the residents of Shastri Nagar of Rayagada for more than six hours demanding shifting of the coal dumping yard of Vedanta Alumina Company at Rayagada on Wednesday.

The road blockade was lifted after receiving an invitation from Bhaskarjyoti Sarma, district Collector of Rayagada .
