BHUBANESWAR: Orissa Sahitya Akademi president and prominent poet Deepak Mishra passed away due to massive heart attack in his hometown of Kendrapara on Wednesday. He was 70 and is survived by wife, two sons and a daughter. “I spoke to him this afternoon and discussed with him about his participation in a literary celebration of the Akademi little knowing that he would be no more barely an hour later. Orissa’s literary world is stunned to hear this painful news,” Akademi secretary Hara Prasad Parichha Patnaik said.
