Wage revision talks to resume

CHENNAI: Wage revision negotiations between representatives of the management of tea estates in the Valparai region and workers will resume on February 5, Labour Minister T.M. Anbarasan told the Assembly on Wednesday. Responding to a query from Valparai member Covai Thangam (Congress), the Minister said several rounds of discussions had taken place in the last few months.

If the next month’s negotiations did not yield any results, he would preside over the talks.
