Special police teams to probe two cases

Coimbatore: Eight special teams of the city police have spread out in different directions pursuing vital clues in cases relating to a threat letter received by the Judge of the CBI cases court on Tuesday and the robbing of two employees of a nationalised bank on January 18. Talking to reporters, City Police Commissioner C.K. Gandhirajan said of the two teams investigating the case relating to the threat letter, one had left for Chennai. The other would leave for Bangalore soon.

Six teams have left for Salem, Tiruchirapalli and Nagapattinam in search of the accused who robbed the two employees. — Staff Reporter
