JPNCA bags KBCA Cup

Bangalore: J.P. Nagar Cricket Academy (JPNCA) won the KBCA Cup under-12 tournament here on Wednesday, defeating Herons CC by four runs.

Akshay Tiwari top-scored for the winner with 45.

The scores (final):

JPNCA 118 for five in 20 overs (Akshay Tiwari 45) bt Herons CC 114 for six in 20 overs.

I.I. Sc scores win

I.I. Sc defeated Bharat Mata FC 2-0 in a State ‘C’ division football league match at the I.I. Sc Ground here on Wednesday evening.

Manju (23rd min.) and Roger (29th) scored for the winner.

In another match at the Austin Town Ground, Young Muslims defeated Young Challengers 1-0.

Santosh scored the winning goal in the 11th minute.
