6 special courts to try SC/ST atrocity cases

HYDERABAD: Chief Minister Y. S. Rajesekhara Reddy on Thursday said six sessions courts would be established in as many districts to try cases of atrocities against Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.

These courts would be set up in Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, West Godavari (at Eluru), Ranga Reddy (at L. B. Nagar), Srikakulam and Adilabad.

Dr. Reddy has also agreed for creation and filling up of posts for each of the six special courts.
