Congress leaders launch tirade against KCR

HYDERABAD: The Congress leaders on Friday lashed out at the Telangana Rashtra Samiti president K. Chandrasekhara Rao for calling the party Ministers and MLAs ‘incompetent’.

Launching a scathing attack on Mr. Rao at a press conference, the Roads and Buildings Minister T. Jeevan Reddy said that the resignation drama enacted by the TRS leaders would boomerang. He said the opposition to the actions of Mr. Chandrasekhara Rao could lead to the defeat of the TRS candidates if by-polls were held. “This may lead to Telangana sentiment taking a backseat,” he said and pointed out that it would be better for the leaders to fight for a separate State instead of fixing deadline.
