NCC team wins praise

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The NCC contingent of Kerala and Lakshadweep NSS Directorate has bagged the sixth position at the All India Republic Day camp in New Delhi. The contingent, which includes 105 NCC cadets, officers and associate NCC officers, participated in the Raj Path March and the Prime Minister’s Rally during the Republic Day parade. The team will reach Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday.

The contingent will be given a reception at the Banquet Hall, Government Guest House at 11 a.m. on February 4. Governor R.L. Bhatia will host a tea party for the contingent on February 5.
