GULBARGA: The North-Eastern Teachers’ Forum has convened a conference of teachers from the primary school to the junior college level in the district on Sunday. Working president of the forum M.B. Ambalagi said that the conference, besides addressing the problems faced by teachers, would discuss other issues confronting the education system in the district and how to improve education standards and pass percentage in the terminal examinations. Mr. Ambalagi said though the forum had taken up special coaching programmes there was a need for joint efforts to broad-base these training programmes to help society.
