BIJAPUR: Deputy Commissioner B.G. Nandkumar convened a meeting of officials and farmers’ representatives to find a solutions to the sugarcane imbroglio here on Friday, even as the agitation launched by farmers in Indi and Sindagi has entered the third week. Opposition Leader in the zilla panchayat Panchappa Kalburgi took part. Mr. Nandakumar said he would discuss the issue with the officials concerned. — Staff Correspondent
