Assembly panel to visit Krishnagiri on Feb. 4

Krishnagiri: The Assembly Committee on Government Assurances will visit Krishnagiri district on February 4.
The committee, led by its chairman T. Velmurugan, will inspect the Floriculture Infrastructure Park at Amudhagondapalli near Hosur.
The committee will also discuss projects including establishment of second phase of Floriculture Park by Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (TIDCO) at Hosur, implementation of underground sewerage scheme, new Collectorate complex and bus stand in Krishnagiri. Projects including establishment of cold storage facilities for tomato farmers in Hosur, fruit processing unit for mango pulp at Kaveripattinam and construction of godown for storing firearms of Armed Reserve will also be considered.
The committee will also inspect the sites selected for implementation of various projects. The committee will also review the progress of development works, the release added. The other committee members include Anbil Periyasamy, K.S. Izhavazhagan, S. Gunasekaran and A. Soundarapandian.
