Hans Raj Hans felicitated

Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal on Friday felicitated renowned Punjabi folk singer Hans Raj Hans for being conferred the Padam Sri Award on Republic Day in New Delhi. In a telephonic congratulatory message to Hans, the Chief Minister described him an icon of classical and Punjabi folk singing.

Laurels for State

He said that Hans has really brought laurels for the State by receiving this prestigious award and hoped he would continue to strengthen the bonds of Punjab, Punjabi and Punjabiat through his lyrical melodies. — PTI
