Kidnap attempt foiled

Sangareddy: Medak police have arrested three young men on Friday for trying to kidnap two students on the outskirts of Medak town. The incident occurred when an Intermediate student, Safia Begum, and her friend Swarupa, an SSC student, belonging to Burugupalli village, were returning home in an autorickshaw on Thursday evening.
The accused, Nawaz, Khalid and Nayeem, followed them on a motorcycle. One of the three got into the auto . They dragged Safia out of the auto and tried to escape with her on the motorcycle.
However, Safia wriggled out and fell down from the motorcycle. Swarupa raised an alarm . A few passers-by caught hold of the accused and handed them over to the police.
