Nominated to UGC

BHUBANESWAR: KIIT University Chancellor Achyut Samanta was nominated as a member to the University Grant Commission, the apex body to regulate higher education, KIIT claimed here on Friday.

Mr. Samanta was informed by Ministry of Human Resources Development in this regard, it said. His term would be for three years. He would discharge responsibilities associated with the office diligently, the Chancellor said.
