Ryot ends life

BHUBANESWAR: A debt-burdened farmer has committed suicide in Jajpur district after he was asked to repay an amount much higher than the loan he had availed way back in 1993.

Nabaghana Sahu, aged around 60 years, committed suicide by consuming poison on the verandah of Sujanpur Cooperative Society Limited on Thursday after his efforts to rectify the credit amount pending against him.

Sahu hailed from Raghunathpur village.
