KOCHI: The State government is awaiting the Chief Secretary’s inquiry report on what went wrong in the Kalamassery Cyber City deal, Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan has said. He was answering queries of mediapersons here on the steps being taken to probe the deal, under which 70 acres owned by the public sector undertaking HMT was handed over to a Mumbai-based private company. Asked about the criticism raised about the issue by a prominent coalition partner of the LDF, Mr. Achuthanandan said that each party had the freedom to air its opinion. Ultimately, primacy would be given to the common spirit of all coalition partners.
