Mourned

BANGALORE: Several eminent persons have mourned the death of litterateur Vyasaraya Ballal. In a joint release, president of Karnataka Janapada and Yakshagana Academy president Keremane Shambhu Hegde, registrar B.N. Paratti, Legislative Council Chairman B.K. Chandrashekar and Kannada Development Authority chairman Siddalingaiah have said that Dr. Ballal had rendered invaluable services to the field of Kannada literature. — Staff Reporter
