HMT officers’ union plea

KOCHI: The HMT Officers’ Association has said that the association has taken a stand above political affiliations in the controversy regarding the HMT land sale. In a statement here on Friday,

it said the association learnt that trade unions had the assurance that 50 per cent of the returns from the sale of non-performing assets would be used for the betterment of the respective unit. The association had gone to court to ensure that the returns from the sale of the land be used for the improvement of the Kalamassery HMT unit.
