Under-18 tournament from today

THIRUVNANATHAPURAM: The first under-18 junior hockey tournament will be held at the G.V. Raja Sports School from Saturday. Teams representing 14 Districts will take part in the two-day competition.

Players born on or after 1-1-1990 are eligible to take part in the tournament and the Kerala team for the under-18 nationals to be held in Hyderabad will be chosen form this meet.

The groupings: Pool ‘A’: Kannur, Ernakualm, Wayanad, Kozhikode, Kottayam, Pathanamthitta and Thiruvananthapuram. Pool ‘B’: Alappuzha, Malappuram, Idukki, Palakkad, Kasaragod and Kollam.
