Rameez unhappy with central contracts

Karachi: Former captain Rameez Raja fears that Pakistan Cricket Board’s new central contracts might sow seeds of dissent among players in the national team.

Rameez said he didn’t agree with the new system simply because it didn’t give any points for seniority. “When I was the chief executive of the board I strongly opposed the central contracts system simply because historically in our cricket only the slab system payment based on seniority has been successful,” he said.— PTI
