Nitish sparklesA brilliant spell by fast bowler Nitish Kumar Sahaney (seven for 38) turned out to be pretty crucial as host Coimbatore took a vital 66-run first innings lead over Nagapattinam in the semifinal of the TNCA under-17 inter-district cricket tournament at the SNR Sons grounds in Coimbatore on Friday. The host, after bundling out the visitor for 117, finished the opening day of the two-day match at 183 for nine. The scores: Nagapattinam 117 in 40.4 overs (Vivek 48, Nitish Kumar Sahaney seven for 38) vs. Coimbatore 183 for nine in 47 overs (Dheer Bhimani 34, Vishnupathy four for 43).
