Exports up 16 p.c. in December

NEW DELHI: India’s exports registered a 16.04 per cent growth in December 2007 to touch $12.31 billion as against $10.61 billion recorded in December 2006. Imports in December 2007 also increased by 18 per cent to $17.68 billion from $14.97 billion recorded in the year-ago period.
