Abhishek and Mohan sizzle
CHENNAI: Abhishek’s 97 run effort and Mohan Babu’s six for 24 damage enabled Chettinad Vidyashram to a 82-run win over PSBB SSS in a match in the TNCA city schools under-15 tournament for the B. Somasundaram Trophy.

Vidya Mandir 35 in 18.3 overs (Ashwin Christ three for 14, Sai Aravind three for 9) lost to St Bede’s ‘A’ 39 for two in 9.2 overs.
Chettinad Vidyashram 236 in 50 overs (Abhishek Mehra 97, K.R. Vishal 54, K. Shravan three for 43) bt PSBB SSS 154 in 43.1 overs (V. Aravind 36, Mohan Babu six for 24, Vinay Prabhakar three for 33).
Santhome HSS ‘A’ 159 in 46.3 overs (S. Selva 52, S. Ashwath three for 42) bt Modern SSS ‘A’ 87 in 45.5 overs (Sanjay 31, S. Selva four for 13).
