Inspection of kerosene permits

Thiruvananthapuram: Officials of the Fisheries Department, Civil Supplies and Matsyafed will

conduct a joint inspection of the kerosene permits

for fishing boats on February 17.

They plan to issue permits for engines in working condition including new ones irrespective of their age at the inspection which will be held in selected centres. Steps will be taken to weed out ineligible persons. The inspection will begin at 8 a.m.
