Vadivelu plays three roles

Staff Reporter

Chennai: Actor Vadivelu has contributed in every possible way to ‘Indiralogathil Naa. Azhagappan’, produced by Seventh Channel’s Manicam Narayanan. Directed by Thambi Ramaiya, the film has the comedian playing three roles, and sporting nine get-ups.

Besides playing the lead role, Vadivelu sat with technicians to help out with the editing and dubbing portions too.

Not surprisingly, he can’t seem to wait for its release on February 1.

“It is an important day for me. Usually, I act in a film for nearly 15 days as my part would be to do with just the comedy track. In this film, I have worked for nearly six months, and I have been with the director as his assistant and worked in all the departments of film-making,” the actor said.

In addition to these functions, he has also sung a song ‘Vandanam Vandanam’, which was not included in the audio album launched a few months ago.

“Actor Shreya has danced for a number with me in the film. Nasser is acting in the role of ‘Naradar’, and the cast includes Yamini Sharma, Sumithra, Manobala, Raj Kapoor and Thiyagu,” he said.

Members of the crew say art director Thotta Tharani’s work is marvellous.
