Development of tourist spots discussed

PERMBALUR: The steps to be taken for developing tourist spots in the district by creating additional infrastructure facilities was discussed at a meeting held here on Thursday.
Collector in-charge M. Narayanan presided over the meeting.
The meeting discussed the development of tourist spots such as Ranjankudikottai, Sathanur stone tree, Ladapuram Mayilootru falls, Siruvachur Madurakaliamman Temple, Settikulam Balathandayuthapani Temple, Valikandapuram Valeeswaran Temple, Venganur Sivan Temple and Su Aduthurai Abaratharakshakar Church.
Tourist Officer Pushparaj, District Forest Officer Ambrose, Deputy Commissioner of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Damodaran, Senior Project Officer, HUDCO, Subramanian and other officials participated in the meeting.
