KOLLAM: Pravasi Bharatiya Samman winner Ravi Pillai has said that Kollam had tremendous scope for tourism, adding that he would contribute to tap its potential. Speaking at a meet-the-press here on Saturday, Mr. Pillai he would construct a Rs.120-crore five star hotel on the banks of Ashtamudi Lake. Talks are on for tie-up with leading hotel groups of the world. He said that though he had travelled to 120 countries, he felt that Kerala was the most beautiful place. Mr. Pillai said that employment opportunities in Gulf countries would remain strong for another 10 years.
