Students join Yamuna Satyagraha

Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI: On the occasion of World Wetland Day on Saturday, students from some of the schools in the Capital joined the ongoing Yamuna Satyagraha at the river bank to save it from destruction.

These children from The Shri Ram School, Moulsari Avenue, and Modern School Barakhamba Road who are also part of “Kids for Tigers” joined the satyagraha to lend support for protection of the river and its floodplains.

These children were given an insight into the problems faced by the river and by the farmers who live around the river.
