Rape accused released

New Delhi: A rape victim has saved her “lover” from punishment by claiming in a court here that he did not commit any offence.

The minor victim’s tearful plea moved the judge who set free the accused and said: “The facts of the case have brought on record the love affairs between the girl and the convict. The girl has denied that the convict raped her.”- PTI
