Raipur: Justice Rajiv Gupta on Saturday took oath as the Chief Justice of Chhattisgarh High Court. Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan administered oath of office to Justice Gupta in a function at the Raj Bhawan here. Chief Minister Raman Singh, Assembly Speaker Prem Prakash Pandey and other dignitaries were present on the occasion. Justice Gupta, who was the Chief Justice of Uttaranchal, replaced Justice Jagdish Bhalla, who has been transferred to Himachal Pradesh.
